Jackson Analytics is a free prediction game. We keep as little about you as the game needs, we never sell it, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.
If you just make a pick
- A device cookie - a random number that keeps your picks together on this phone. It isn't linked to who you are.
- Your picks - the match, your pick, how sure you were, and when you locked it. Picks are public on their own page and stay on the record.
- Where you came from - if you arrived from one of our posts, which one. That's how we learn which posts are worth making.
If you create an account
- Your email address and password - held by our sign-in provider, to verify your account and get you back in. Never shown and never shared. The password is stored scrambled; nobody can read it, us included.
- Your display name - shown on your picks and the leaderboard.
- That you said you're 18 or over, and your choices about featuring and results emails.
- Your X handle, only if you add one - used to tag you when a pick of yours is featured.
If you use Ask Claude
Your questions and Claude's answers are kept for 30 days to improve the answers, then deleted. They're sent to Anthropic, who make Claude, to be answered. Don't put personal details in a question.
To keep the site safe
To stop floods of sign-ups and picks, we count requests against a scrambled version of your internet address. We never store the address itself.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs to work: the device cookie, a sign-in cookie when you're signed in, one that remembers you said you're 18 or over, and one that holds a sign-in in progress. No advertising or analytics cookies, so there's nothing to accept.

Your choices
- Switch featuring or results emails off any time in your settings.
- Delete your account from your account page. Your email, sign-in, name and settings go straight away; your picks stay on the record as "Deleted user", with nothing linking them to you.
- You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
